Today, the children are participating in “TOMS: One Day Without Shoes,” in order to bring awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life, by taking off our own. Why shoes? In developing countries, millions of children grow up without shoes and are at risk of injury and disease. Shoes are a critical first step toward health and access to education. Today provides a great learning experience for all of the children at Brighton!
